Vinoterra Rkatstieli 2019 (Kakheti) White Dry, 0.75L

This golden-honey-colored wine has a bouquet of green apple and toasted almonds. Bold tannins provide a backdrop for flavors of Gala apple, quince, orange peel and hazelnut that culminate in a brisk, tart finish.

Color: Clear amber. Nose: Grapefruit, zest of orange, grapefruit and pomelo. Apricot, camphor, honey, spruce and herbs. Palate: Complex. Succulent and firm with taste of citrus, citrus zest, apricot, green tea and dried fruit. A bit dry and almost bitter right after opening. After a few hours the wine opens up and become more mellow, with pleasant structure and defined top notes. Edit: Second time around the wine really opened up after decanting. Top tip!
